Wrap Happy is all about in house gifting. This is a small step to eliminate your family's waste when it comes to gift wrapping. This also means you can preserve your gorgeous kit for many years to come. Wrap, celebrate, pack away, then wrap again. Reusable wraps that will last for years.
If you have like minded family members and friends you can even use your Wrap Happy wraps in a circular system, with everyone sharing and returning wraps.
We have put together some techniques for how you can Wrap Happy at home.
Firstly have a good rummage and play around with the fabrics.
Wrapping with Wrap Happy wraps is simple. Choose a wrap which fits around your gift then fold the fabric over and secure the ends just like you would if you were wrapping with paper. The trick here is how you secure the fabric. Each Wrap Happy Kit or pack comes with a selection of Clips, elastics, ribbons and reusable nanodots. These fastenings are what you use to secure your gift wrapping. We have also included some satin drawstring bags, perfect for odd shaped gifts or very small gifts. Embellish your gift to your hearts desire with ribbons, bows, bells, cards, flowers, whatever you feel like using.
If it doesn't fit one way as in the picture above, just turn the wrap around and see if fits a different way, just like you would with paper wrapping.
Perfect, it fits!!
You'll notice there's no sticky tape! So how do you tape up the ends?
So here are a few ways to play
- We have provided some beautiful clasps which you can use to secure the corners. If you need a bit of extra security on the ends you can try out a nanodot.
- The nanodots are reusable sticky dots which you can use to hold the folded fabric in place while you pop the elastic bands around your gift. After using if they have become less sticky you can wash and dry them for next use.
- Another option is to fold the edges in like a burrito and roll up your gift. Secure with elastics and clasps.
- If your gift is really odd shaped you can place the gift in the middle of the wrap and pull up all the edges to the top and tie it off like you would with a cellophane wrapped basket.
- If your gift is barrel shaped the old bon bon style wrapping is a winner. Roll up the gift and tie off both ends with elastic and ribbons.
Here we used some nanodots to hold the ends in place.
Using the clips in the pic below to connect the middle folds
See the elastic band across the belly of the gift in the pic below? It holds it together while you decorate your gift.
Et Le Voila!
